Filter intake module FVPR with externally positioned Permeable matrix of pressed metal wire(PM) filtration elements has been designed for application in ESP units 5,5A and 7A with nominal outputs up to 200 m3/day to prevent penetration of solids such as sand, proppant, etc. with particle sizes of 100...500 pm into the pumping units.

-ESP pump enhanced reliability, effective operation and ESP

unit run life increase.

-Modular structure of the filtation system from PM material and sectional design of filters.

-Crevice effect of PM material and ability of filtration elements to remain clear of solids.

1,5...2 times reduction in total filter length due to high porous surface of PM material and low hydraulic reduction in total filter length due to high porous surface of PM material and low hydraulic resistance of the filter as compared to slotted and screen filtration systems.

-ESP unit long-term operation without the output decrease.

-Possibility to alter cutoff rating by controlled compression of filtration elements.

-Insensitivity to shock loads and hole curvature due to elastic properties of PM material.

-High corrosion and erosion resistance of filtration elements from PM material.

-Ability of filtration elements to recover during servicing operations. 

To prevent decrease of ESP unit flow rate due to filtration element blinding bypass valves are utilized in the filter.

Ends of filtration elements from stainless steel protect edges of filtration elements and make them rigid.

Corrosion resistant design of the filter. The shaft is made from "K" Monel.
