  The REAM Group manufactures high-performance technical rubber products that meet particular requirements. Unique formulations and designs ensure stability of the REAM Group at the market of technical rubber products and make its products competitive both in Russia and abroad.

  Among REAM's formulations is a family of ED resistant elastomeric compounds, free friction elastomers with friction coefficient 0,3 max. They are applied in bearings of oil engineering, in water supply pumps, in aerospace craft assemblies where sealing at low power consumption is required. These products have enhanced abrasive resistance, wide temperature range and low static friction.

  For the first time in CIS REAM's specialists commercialized products from a new generation of AflasТМ fluoroelastomers using the company's own formulations. These products are now successfully employed in oil and gas equipment operating under harsh service conditions where traditional elastomers lose their sealing properties and cause emergency situations.

  The REAM Group manufactures components from polymeric composites for oil and gas industry using materials on the basis of PPS and PEEK.  

  We mastered new original technologies that enable manufacturing operating elements of submersible pumps with temperature resistance > 200 °C and good chemical resistance. Polymer coatings with temperature resistance up to 300 °C are formulated on the basis of the same polymeric matriсes. The coatings have high release properties and low scaling.

  Russian and foreign manufacturers of oil and gas equipment — Borets, ALNAS, NOVOMET-Perm and others are among REAM's customers. Besides, the REAM Group also works in close co-operation with service companies — Surgutneftegaz, LUKOIL, TNK-BP.

  Along with manufacturing of high quality elastomer products the REAM Group invested in developing and commercializing filtration elements from compressed wire mesh. At the moment tens of thousands of filtration elements are produced by the company. Compressed wire mesh products ensure life time increase and assemblies and units reliability due to enhanced performance of filters in aggressive media, under conditions of high and low temperatures, thermal cycling and under sudden pressure drops. Long-term operational period, resistance to thermal and mechanical load impact, vibration level and armature noise decrease are favorable properties of products from compressed wire mesh.

  At present the REAM Group manufactures more than 10 million articles (more than 100 items) a year. These are various sealing rings, reinforced and unarmored lip seals, seal bags, gaskets, profiled seals of composite section, tubes, bellows, dielectric technical rubber products for electric transport vehicles, filters from compressed wire mesh for braking, gas-pressure and fuel equipment and other items. One can proudly state that the REAM Group has come to this market for a good long time.

  Working efficiency of the company's products is of great importance. Know-how and own formulations are widely used in the technical rubber products we manufacture. High quality of the products is achieved by the use of unique methods of technological tooling designing.

  Except widely-used technologies we stand to the principle of working «from the problem». This approach enabled to market products with a 15,5-year application period in units and this is very attractive for the State equipment.

  REAM's specialists do not simply complete their projects in accordance with customer's drawings, sizes and requirements. They try to investigate problems that can appear in the process of the unit's use. The most vulnerable areas are determined; and the issue is looked at as a whole. We call this engineering approach to manufacturing process. Pre-production models are often made with company's own funds and after thorough tests the customer can compare the company's product to any other domestic and foreign prototypes.
